30 weeks! 10 to go:)

I can't believe I am already 30 weeks along. It is absolutely crazy just how fast the time has gone. I am sure these last 10 weeks might drag, but with the list of things I still have to do to prepare, i'm betting they won't.

How is Baby? Well, from my last Dr. appt Baby is doing just as good as he can be. Baby is measuring right on track, Heartbeat is still strong as ever, and I feel him kicking all day, everyday. Which is most definitely the highlight of my days. :)

How is Mom? Well, it's definitely not the 2nd trimester any longer. I am feeling the lovely signs of 3rd trimester set in really quickly. I am not sleeping half as good as I had been in my 2nd trimester. I have encountered the lovely symptom of heartburn. I had to buy a boppy pillow to find a good position to sleep. I am not waddling yet, but I am sure it won't be long before I am! Amongst other lovely signs of 3rd trimester joys that I won't bore anyone with ;)

Good News is: I no longer have have high blood pressure! Well, let's just put it this way: It finally was normal when the Nurse checked it. The last 5 appts it has been high--only at the Dr. office. Not at home, or any other place that I had checked it at. This was quite an exciting moment for Dustin and I. We didn't have to keep worrying whether or not I was going to be developing Pre-Eclampsia. Obviously, we will still be watching it. But this was an exciting Dr. appt for us!

More good news:
I don't have Gestational Diabetes! For some reason, this was the biggest thing throughout my pregnancy that I was not looking forward to. I was not looking forward to the nasty sugary drink *(Which was not so bad after all)* and I was not looking forward to failing the 1 hour test, just to go take another 3 hour test. But all was well, and I did not get a call back and next appt I was so kindly informed that I passed with no problems at all.

I am now onto my 2 week appointments and will be seen by my Dr. every 2 weeks. In 1 month I will finally get to see my growing baby again. It literally feels like I have not seen him in forever. Which well, it kind of has been. The last time I saw him was at 19 weeks. That's 11 weeks ago. So, Dustin and I are really looking forward to our 34 week ultrasound and can't wait to see how much he has grown! :)

26 weeks!

It's been a few weeks, but we have been traveling pretty much this entire month so please excuse my slack-ness!!

I can not believe how fast things have now been starting to go. It really seems like just yesterday that I just found out I was pregnant. Now, I have 14 weeks to go. I can't really even believe it but I am getting so anxious! In just about 3 months I will be meeting this little boy of mine! Yet, I still have so so much to do so I am quite ok with the time!!

I have been feeling fabulous. Sometimes I forget im pregnant until he kicks me with a friendly reminder. OR, until I try bending over which seems to become more and more of a challenge every day! My belly is obviously growing, and the weight it being gained. Hopefully it will stay at the pace its going but time will surely tell. My belly button has not quite popped yet but I'm betting it wont be much longer before it does!

25 1/2 weeks!

More to come! :)

22 Weeks

Well, I am past the half-way point now and still feeling pretty good to say the least. My belly is definitely growing, and I am finally starting to FEEL pregnant! The last couple of appointments have been well, besides my blood pressure. I have been going into the Doctor weekly because of it. BUT, have no fear, it's only high WHILE I am at the Doctor. I have been taking it at home daily and not one time has it had a high reading other than when they take it at the Doctor. Who knows why this is, but so far they haven't felt the need to do anything about it thus far. They typically would be giving me some blood pressure medication, but seeing as it is only high while I am at the Doctor, it would crash my blood pressure which definitely wouldn't be good either. SO, we have just been going to the Doctor more frequently than we would like to be going. But hey, at least I get to hear the heartbeat weekly. That is definitely a plus to it:)

Well, baby is now the size of a potato as of tomorrow. Kinda crazy to think how big he grows from week to week. I have been feeling baby kick since about 17 weeks, but now Dustin gets to enjoy that pleasure with me and it is by far my favorite part of pregnancy! I feel him consistently every day which is such a reassurance that I look forward to daily. It's amazing how much I love this little guy already and it really grows more and more everyday. I sometimes get scared of the thought of motherhood, but I feel more and more little things seem to come as a natural motherly instinct as I go through researching all the different things I need to be researching to prepare for this little guy.

19 weeks!

Yes, I know it's been some time since I have updated, but fortunately I haven't had much of an eventful pregnancy thus far. *(Keeping my fingers crossed that it stays this way)*. I can't believe I am just about half way through my pregnancy already! It's insane how fast it's going by when at the same time it still feels slow! It's crazy.

I have still been feeling great. They weren't lying when they said the 2nd trim
ester is the best. I have had days where I seriously don't even feel pregnant! The only thing reminding me is my growing belly. OH, and the little kicks I am finally able to feel now! Whic
h is definitely the highlight of my days! Last night, Dustin was able to feel him kick from the outside 3 times! This was the first time I had felt him be so active and his kicks were so
prominent! It was an amazing feeling! I am sure in time I will only complain about it, but at this moment in time it's been an amazing new change and I love the reassurance every time I feel him move around in there!

We had our "20 week ultrasound" yesterday. Yes, I am only 19 weeks--but hey, it was close
enough. Everything was perfect. The tech said that we have a perfectly healthy baby boy and I was so glad to get a confirmation that our baby boy is indeed still a BOY. It was the great news to know how healthy he is from what they could see and that he once again was measuring right where he should be weighing 9 oz at this point in time with a heartbeat of 147! We are
very excited and can't even believe how much we have already grown to love this baby boy.

Here are some of the ultrasound pics we got!:)

More to come!

15.5 weeks!

It's been a while since i have posted but I didn't feel there was too much to update on! Everything is going good. We had another Dr. Appt and it was just to check up on the little one and make sure everything is going perfect. Heartbeat sounded good: 153 BPM, so still going strong! I am finally in my 2nd trimester and feeling amazing. I have most of my energy back, and headaches only occasionally! And still, of course, have not gotten sick! Keeping my fingers crossed!

10 weeks!

I finally, finally, finally hit 10 weeks! Why was this such a pivotal moment for me?? Because that was the week I was finally going to get to see my little baby growing inside of me!! I was so so nervous but so excited for it to all finally feel real to me! Yesterday I had my first Dr. Appt, and it could not have gone better!! They gave me an ultrasound and the baby was measuring exactly at 10w1d which is exactly what the expected due date was, so my little bean is officially due on Aug 29th, 2011! We saw the heartbeat just pounding away in the ultrasound and it was so amazing. The heart rate was 183 BPM! We could not be happier or more in love already! I am excited for the upcoming changes I am about to experience!

8 weeks!

I have meant to update my blog once a week to talk about each individual week and how it's been going. However, I haven't felt much different since the last time I posted! Which is probably why I haven't been so good at posting. As I am sure since I am now 8 weeks I will start feeling a little bit of a difference week by week so I will try my hardest to keep up on my weekly updates! Now, my baby is the size of a raspberry! Still sounds so small but so exciting from when I first heard it being the size of a sesame seed!! :)

I can't even believe how much I love this baby already! It's amazing to know how much that love can grow through the entire 9 months of pregnancy until the moment I get to hold this sweet little baby in my arms! Aside from the excitement, I have definitely felt some of the worries as well! I never knew I would worry so much before my first appointment! Unfortunately my first appointment got postponed up until the 1st of February. Only a few days after my original one I had made. I will be 10 weeks from my estimation by then and hoping and praying for the absolute best outcome and can't even begin to express my excitement for the first time I will get to see that little baby and hear it's heartbeat!

How have I been feeling?

Well, pretty great actually. Alot better than expected. That's for sure. I have felt very slight nausea. But little to none. The only time I felt a little nausea was when i was around 6 weeks and it was very mild and nothing that Ginger Ale couldn't take care of. So either I am the lucky 25% of women that don't experience much Morning Sickness or it has not yet hit me and when it does I am sure it will hit me with a vengeance! I have however experience the pure exhaustion. It seems I have to take a nap daily now and I never used to need that. I am always tired, and hungry usually every 2-3 hours. I also have my lovely mood swings that my poor husband has to deal with. Hopefully those will pass soon!! Other than that I feel great. I will try to post some pics soon, even tho there really is not much to show yet!!
